Fire and smoke protection systems

Almost all profile processing can be carried out with a heroal punch. This makes system processing more reliable and faster – even for those who are new to the fire protection segment.

With just a few additional components – including the patented Fireblock insulator – highly secure, energy-efficient solutions can be created, including the highly thermally insulated heroal C 50 FP HI variant.

The heroal FireXtech D 93 FP 30 CE fire door can be seamlessly integrated into the heroal C 50 FP EI 30 fire protection façade as a single or double-leaf fire door, ensuring a consistent façade design with integrated escape routes and compliance with safety requirements.

The heroal C 50 FP and C 50 FB fire protection solutions enable a uniform, continuous façade design with smooth transitions between areas with and without fire protection requirements – thanks to concealed protection components and seamless integration into the heroal C 50 façade system.

With F 30 glazing, particularly large elements up to a height of 5 m can be realised. If necessary, external structural profiles can be flexibly attached to the inside or outside.

With a wide range of door closures, including zero barriers, fire door systems can be implemented to meet different technical requirements and individual customer wishes. For threshold-free solutions, fire door systems can be combined with the patented heroal DS drainage system.

The fire protection systems are coated with the durable heroal hwr powder coating for unique design variety and colour consistency with the heroal system portfolio. With heroal's profile bending and folding service, fixed parts in special shapes such as round, blind and basket arches can be realised.

For interior areas, the heroal FireXtech D 93 FP fire protection door system offers general building approval and a modular design for fire protection closures lasting 30 and 90 minutes. The D 93 FP 30 and 90 variants are approved by the building authorities in accordance with EN 1634-1 and DIN 4102 and can be optionally extended to include a smoke protection function in accordance with DIN 18095-1.

For outdoor areas, the thermally separated heroal D 93 FP 30 CE system offers tested safety in accordance with EN 16034 (EI₂ 30 – C5) and EN 14351-1. A smoke protection function in accordance with S_a/S₂₀₀ is available as an option.

The heroal C 50 FP fire protection façade has been tested in accordance with EN 1364-3 and classified as EI 30 i↔o in accordance with EN 13501-2. It can be designed as a curtain wall or recessed façade. With just a few additional components – including the patented Fireblock insulator – safe, energy-efficient solutions can be created (heroal C 50 FP HI).

The heroal C 50 FB system variant offers EI 90 protection (EN 1364-4:2014) against fire spread between floors – fully integrable as a balustrade, apron or combined solution.

In order to offer the widest possible range, heroal works with five manufacturers of fire-resistant glass for indoor and outdoor use. This allows different requirements for sound insulation and burglary protection to be met. Double and triple insulated glazing with U-values of 0.5 W/m²K for high thermal insulation requirements is also available.

With the heroal W 72 FP fire protection window, fire protection requirements can also be implemented for windows – including the excellent performance and processing advantages of the heroal W 72 window system.

heroal fire protection systems can be used to create escape and rescue routes in accordance with DIN 179/1125. The door systems are also ideal for high-traffic areas with heavy continuous use.
